Mitchell’s Nudes: a Review

Just a few short days ago, internationally acclaimed artist, and dear friend of mine, Mitchell Price unveiled his very first solo gallery show “Sight as Study”, less formally known as Mitchell’s Nudes. The show took place at the TI Art Center in the 1000 Islands, where Price was born.

Unfortunately I was not able to be there as I had a wedding to tend to in Nantucket, but I had my best team on the scene to document and report: My brother Alex, and Mitchell’s brother Reed.

A stunning scene, from the live action of the show

As I’m told (and as you can clearly see), the show was absolutely incredible. Trish Tague was found speechless by the gripping intricacy of the pieces.

From left: Alex McCullough and Reed Price. Two thumbs up, indeed.

“They’re just beautiful” Coo’d a young show attendee who preferred to remain unnamed. “Far better than any nude I’ve ever received.”

If you would like to check out the nudes yourself, you can do so, as the exhibit will be running through November 6th. For more information, please contact the TI Art Center.
