First off, let me apologize for leaving all of you without fresh reads last week. I’m sure all of you not only noticed, but were worried sick about me. Anxiety was undoubtedly high, sleep was likely lost; you’re probably even a little resentful now that you know I am okay, but left you for a full week without new content. There’s no doubt about it, I have been a bad blog mom, and you deserve better. Hopefully you can find it in your hearts to forgive me. I won’t let it happen again.
But that’s not enough. I’m sure you have questions: Where were you TOBY K? What were you doing? Was there good food there? Did you miss us?
Of course I missed you, don’t be ridiculous. I was in NYC for the week, and truth be told, I was doing it all for you guys. I was working on the blog, shooting with new people, shaking new hands, and scoping new scenes. And for the most part, yes; the food was pretty good. I was also reunited with two people who are very important to me that I’ve been separated from for quite some time now, so I had to take a few days sans computer to show them love. But that is neither here nor there. What’s important now is that I’m back, and boy do I have some cool new looks to show you.
This look is from my first night in NYC. I basically stepped off the bus, into these slicked out pleather pants, and hit the streets with Chris Britton, a NYC photographer who I hadn’t had the pleasure of working with until this shoot. The photos speak for themselves, and I can absolutely say this is my favorite work I have done for TOBY K so far. I almost feel like I should just retire right now because I’m pretty sure I just peaked, but that would mean I wouldn’t be able to work with Chris again in the future, and that simply must happen, so continue on we must. Anyway, I like to call this look: City Slicker, because those pants are shiny AF, and we pulled off some pretty slick moves while shooting that night that would impress even the coolest cats.
