It took me a while, but I finally did it, guys. I got my shit together (…a little), got a job, and got caught up with the blog. That’s actually a complete lie, I’m not caught up at all, but at least location wise I am caught up (aka done with the Perth features, and moving on to the Melbourne features).
I’ve been living in Melbourne for about a month now, absolutely love it here, and have already linked up with a few brands that I’m really excited to be working with. I don’t like to play favorites, but let’s just say I am very very very excited about this first brand I am going to tell you about that I’ve been working with: Coco and Max.
I first found @cocoandmaxmelbourne via Instagram and fell in love with all the bright colors and and vibes they were putting out. All of their posts are so bright, fun, and high energy, it’s everything I appreciate in a brand. We got to talking, finally linked up, and as it turns out, the creator of the brand is even cooler.
Born in Australia, but straight out of England, Tess (the creator of Coco and Max) designs all the COCO (womenswear) pieces, alongside her partner Andy who designs all of the Max (menswear) pieces. And as we all know, there is nothing I love more than bad ass women, independent designers, and international power-couples, so getting to link up with them has been wonderful. SO, bust out some sunnies and take a peek at the brightest, most amazing (and comfortable) leggings I have ever owned, from the womenswear Geo Pop collection.
Wait, actually, before I get into this, I had so many ideas of how to style this look that I couldn’t decide on one, so I did it two slightly different ways, in an idea I’ll call Style Showdown. Take a look, and tell me which look you like better.
So for the first edition of Style Showdown: 80’s aerobics business lady vs. rainbow super hero chic.
